About

discovering, learning, & experiencing

Christina N. Draper

I am known for my passionate dedication and organizational skills, two qualities that have served me well throughout my experiences as a: creative and marketing lead at work, arts volunteer at the local schools, youth soccer coach, mental health advocate, and mother. I thrive on getting involved in projects related to these precious aspects of my life. At the heart of each challenge is my creative energy which drives innovative solutions. On the journey, I enjoy collaborating with others and am inspired by the talented people I have had the honor of working beside over the years. I try to inspire them in return and empower those who are my direct reports. Throughout my career, I have managed a wide range of teams, including product development, graphic design, editorial, user experience, user interface, web development and marketing.

Over the years I have worked for several Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon.com, Nordstrom, and Levi Strauss. A significant commonality among them is their celebration of employee differences by embracing all races, ethnicities, cultures, genders, religions, and sexual orientations. For that I feel fortunate. I believe diversity in the workplace makes a team stronger.

Discovering, learning and experiencing the world firsthand has always been a passion of mine.  Whether for work or personal enjoyment, I have been fortunate to visit numerous cultures around the world. Each was a remarkable journey, providing some of my fondest memories. In the immortal words of Mane Dennis, portrayed by Rosalind Russell in the 1958 film Auntie Mame: “Life is a Banquet, and Most Poor Suckers Are Starving to Death.”
